Blood Glucose Control

Cinnamon is used in traditional medicine, and several studies have tested chemicals extracted from cinnamon for various possible medicinal effects.

In an experiment testing the effects of various plants used in traditional Indian medicine, an extract of Cinnamomum cassia had an effect on HIV-1. Another study found that eugenol, a chemical found in cinnamon essential oils, and in other plants, inhibited the replication of the virus causing herpes in vitro. The compound cinnzeylanine, from C. zeylanicum, also had antiviral properties in a model system using silkworm cells.

Two studies have shown that including cinnamon and cinnamon extract in the diet may help type 2 diabetics to control blood glucose levels.

No burp up taste with black seed and cinnamon. So far so good. I am seeing my glucose leveling off.

Did you know that Cinnamon is a brain power booster

It was found that smelling cinnamon boosts cognitive function and memory. Carry a cinnamon stick around with you, and take a whiff every so often to keep you focused at work or school. Or, add a few dashes of cinnamon to your morning coffee or cereal to get your day off to a more focused and alert start.

I take 3 of your supplements for my overall health fitness. Best products on the market and the costs are very affordable.

To further Pamela's findings, I also found that cinnamon is good for diabetes treatment

In the same Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center conducted a study on diabetic patients, whom were each given one-quarter of a teaspoon of cinnamon over 40 days, researchers observed that patients’ blood sugar levels fell as much as 30 percent. In another study, published by Fertility and Sterility in 2007, researchers gave half of the participants cinnamon extract and the other half a placebo. Over an 8-week period, the women who took the cinnamon extract showed greatly reduced insulin resistance compared to the placebo group.

Since I already know black seed is excellent in tretaing diabetes, I took the cinnamon and black seed supplements you have and it has fixed my blood sugar levels in a major positive way.

We use this as our supplements everyday. There are many benefits of of Black Seed.

For those who do not know much about it, the seeds is from the annual flowering plant, Nigella Sativa.

They have been prized for their healing properties for almost 4000 years. As a matter of fact, black seed oil was found in Egyptian pharoah Tutankhamun's tomb. Imagine that!

In the English-speaking cultures, the seeds are also known as Roman coriander, black sesame, black cumin, black caraway and onion seed, it is known today primarily as black seed, which is at the very least an accurate description of its physical appearance.

My only advice is to do not overdo it. Take the prescribed amount, such as 2-6 capsules per day. I asked Black Seed Products about how much I should take and was advises to alternate the dosages, so I take 2 one day, 4 the next day, 6 the next day and so on.

You'll be surprised how less you go to the doctor.

I read this study on the National Institutes of Health website: Effect of Nigella sativa seeds on the glycemic control of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21675032

I thought I would give it a try and to my surprise, when I tested my blood glucose levels, I got great results.

Believer in black seeds.
